Not sure if you'll remember but a couple years ago I copied your led layout for my bc29, I often wonder how your tank is doing. Glad to see it looks amazing! Funny I used to use a blue container for my top off just like the one you have from ocean nutrition (I think) salts for a couple years, gave me a chuckle to see I'm not the only one to repurpose those lol.

running dual hydra 52s. My phone doesn't really pick up the lights that well though so its hard to get pictures of the corals.

Yep I remember! My BC29 is doing ok, has some hair algae popping up for some reason and if you can believe it I have never actually had to deal with hair algae before. 11 years in the hobby and my first bit of hair algae what to do! lol How is your tank doing? Yah those blue Oceanic jugs work great, I think I have 5 or 6 of them and I just keep them filled with RO they make great ATO reservoirs :)

Hey that looks great! Did you go with the oceanic stand as well?

I'm honored!!! :D

Let me know if you have any questions, I'd love to help if you do. And yes, it has grown in I'm having trouble keeping up on pruning corals. But thats not necessarily a bad problem to have

I did marineland tank and marineland stand. The stands pretty short like 26in. And those hydras aren't going to sit on those legs for long I already have the hanging kit on the way!

Thanks man! Do it, its a great sized tank

Yah the stand gave me some trouble but I like it now, I like not having to get a ladder to reach the bottom of the tank. Hanging kit will make it look even better!

I just hung it Monday and threw a black back ground on it. The specs on my system are 2 hydra 52s(waaaayyy to much light I'm burning stuff at like 40% 8in above the tank.) Aqueon proflex 3 sump set up as a refugium with mineral mud, 4 koralias at varying speeds, the eshoppes snow cone 120, a bulk reef supply dual reactor with gfo and carbon, and a Sicce 3.5 for a return. And for fish I have 3 fire fish, a purple tang, a yasha, a citron goby, a watermelon goby, a yellow watchman, a flame back, a midnight paired with an occy, and 2 platinums. Im trying to go sps but that citron keeps harassing my frags. Which is a pain because "Alan" is my girlfriends favorite fish lol. I can agree with that though I had a 180 that felt like a sky scraper.

Still getting all the equipment together. Since I'm starting from scratch it might be a few months before I start throwing in some sticks. Here's what I have so far.

I wouldn't use it as a QT if your going to use it as a frag tank, unless you don't run medication in your QT.

Shallow 30gal cube for frags when I get that far. Thought I might use it as a QT at first. What do you think?

I think thats exactly what I've been looking for as a frag tank! Who makes it? I would like to try and order one
