A bit lost setting up Power Station with Apex

Hi everyone,
I finally got a power station for my tank. The only thing that will be hooked up to it is my return pump.

I have my Apex controlling the return pump right now. I’m thinking through how I can keep control of the return pump through my Apex while at the same time have the return pump plugged into the power station in case I lose power. Are both of these things possible simultaneously, or am I going to have to stop controlling the return pump from my Apex.

I had the same issue with battery backup for my MP40s. I ended up getting a WXM module for the Apex that lets you directly control EcoTech products wirelessly. Not sure what type of return pump you have and if it is controllable directly with an Apex.

Hi, Thanks, Sorry, I wasn’t very clear. I don’t mean controllable as in what a WXM allows. I don’t need to control any of the modes or speeds on the pump. What I would like to continue being able to do is when my return pump turns off, I have the Apex programmed that the ATO and skimmer also turns off.
