I am hoping someone(s) can help answer a few questions:
Skimmer ID: Without being able to see his skimmer, I have no idea how to help a friend of mine out. All he can tell me is that there are "3 interlocking circles/ovals" on the top of it. Does anyone have a clue what skimmer this might be?
Acrylic Question: Is it possible for a DIY acrylic tank (say 3 months old???) to have a sudden and violent/explosive "settling?" (acute creaking/cracking sounds, but without crazing, leakage or any sign of damage) This sounds odd and unlikely to me. But, what do I know? Not much, wich is why I'm asking. Acrylic experts, help.
