1. When doing water changes is the old saltwater bad for your septic system? Can you use it to kill weeds?

2. I feed brocoli and zucchini in my freshwater tanks what about in a saltwater tank?

3. I've read different aerosols like freebreeze and lysol are bad to use in the same room as your tank but what about pooph?

IMO, I wouldn't have any form of aerosol or spray going in the same room as your tank; that is just me.

Whenever I did water changes, I would dump the water outside (usually because I was also vacuuming sand while doing it). The times when I dumped it down my drain, I never had any issues

1. Depends on the amount of saltwater I think, but I don’t have personal experience with septic. It does kill some weeds but not everything.

2. I haven’t kept many herbivorous fish yet, but I have heard of people doing this. Zucchini is a lot more nutritious than cucumber, and spinach leaves zucchini in the dust, so those are some options to consider as well

3. I don’t know much about pooph specifically but I try to avoid all sprays in the same room as my tank because any small amount that stays in the air can get into the tank

In response to question 2, my lfs feeds the tank a while romaine lettuce every day, but granted, this tank has very large fish in it and they are all pretty much herbivores
