Years of reefing experience and this one definitely stumped me. I have done some research and found only one thing today that I think these are. Recently, my bubblegum digi has started to decline, then today the base has basically no polyp extension and is slowly turning white. It is not STN'ing. Just, losing polyp and turning white. It has STN'd before and bounced back so I know how that looks. Anyway, anyone have any ID on these? I'm thinking Ostracods. Which supposedly are harmless.

Thank you for the responses. Yeah, from what I’ve read they’re harmless. I don’t think they’re the cause of the Digi decline. I moved it up higher in the tank to get more light and flow. Going to see how it goes.
