Hello
Ladies and Gents.
My question this evening is where have you sited your various probes and why ?
Where do you get the best or worst results ?
Just setting up my sump so any advice as always is gratefully appreciated.
Thanks
Anthony

I have my temp probe in the middle section of the sump where there’s no equipment. The pH probe is in the section with the return pump. I put it there because I add alk to the DT right where the return is so it mixes with the water. My theory is that the alk will mix as much as possible before it hits the ph probe, leading to less wild ph fluctuations. Once I have an apex ph probe, I’ll be able to see if the theory is correct. Hope this helps!

My sump probes are in the middle of my tank, which are my orp, ph, salinity and oxygen sensor. They are before my dosing lines so if I dose it will not impact the probes with large swings.

My tank probes, PH, salinity, temp and also ORP are in the overflow.

I created virtual probes using both those probes allowing me to to turn off outlets if I see wild swings as a safety precaution.
