Aquascaping day! Sand comes in on Friday so figured I should get it set today. Ammonia at 2, Nitrites between 0 and 0.25, 0 nitrates. Did a 50% WC today
Some of the corals are really coloring back up fast :) Put Ron Weasley and Blackbeard front and center

Much happier blasto today (compare to that dark purple pic above) and my Cladocora arbuscula is open for the first time! Didn't think it was going to make it :)

Wonderful !
I'm happy that you share my love for little critters. Years ago, I set up a 40g breeder mainly, for shrimps and my favorite, crabs. I really like watching them eat, climb mountains (live rock) lol

My buddy was "Hermi", a small hermit crab. He grew to a huge, almost palm size. I liked feeding him by hand. I would put him in a fish bowl and take him to our small town grade school and teach kids about the worlds reefs.

Anyway, the live rock looks great as well and I'll be following !
Enjoy !

Not quite, he's a bit of a nemo, I'm hoping it'll keep his *****ery to a minimum. It's cute, they swim together but the snowflake forgets that the maroon isn't as strong a swimmer and takes off, swims in a circle looking for the maroon, then darts back :p

Now I see what you meant by another odd couple. I thought about a maroon for about .5 seconds interested to see how it pans out. Really cool rock with all the life. Tagging along.

New addition :) realized when I got home that the store doesn't have itemize receipts, since it was only $20 >_> but I'll use the full purchase amount for its value unless someone would rather assign an FMV :)

This was meant to be a temporary addition while it recovered from Warp's rock garden, but the clownfish have decided they want to keep it, so $5 it is

So last night the mandarin decided to do that creepy curl up in a ball and go in front of the power head to be in the current thing, which promptly led to him floating over the tank divider and into the side clown compartment. A certain someone is now having a feast since there's nothing in there yet to eat all the pods >_> can't get used to that way of sleeping, makes me think the poor thing's hurt or dead or something
