Well I picked up a vile of brine shrimp eggs the other day thinking food for my tank and the two teenage girls in the house might get a kick out of them. Not so much on the second point in hind sight. So I get these eggs home and get ready to set up a ten gallon tank lad ""bing"" light goes on, why not put them in my 20 gallon QT no meds in it at the moment. Back story I have a modulabadidea which is a part of my brain that makes really stupid ideas sound awesome most men have them it's what makes buying a rusted out old car look like a good thing because you can fix it even though you don't know what end of a hammer to hit it with. So in the eggs go filter off bubbler on and we wait. Two days later we have swimmers yay victory is mine. Next day no swimmers ***. Well now my QT is a cesspool of ammonia nitrates and nitrite. So morale of the story don't dump 13 gazillions eggs in your QT it will foul the water so fast they will not even make it past day 2.
