I’ve had this Spongodes(?) for a while don’t know much about it. I keep soft and lps. Is it looking good or dying I don’t pay much attention to it so I haven’t really watched it grow. Any tips?

It’s glued about 3/4th of the way up the back wall under an AI Prime/T5 hybrid

Okay that’s great to hear, I see others where they are bright neon green and this one has just the one green patch

Why does your have more green? My seems to be all mouths compared to yours
The polyp extension comes and goes. It’s pretty random on this frag. As far as color goes, I’m running a 6-bulb t5 fixture over my 55g, which probably has a lot to do with coloration, along with the elevated nutrients I keep in this system.

All my LPS seems to be the happiest around 40ppm nitrates. Also don’t know if that high is bad for this.

That is a pretty Monti. It was a weed in my tank. Fast grower and it was everywhere. I would isolate it on one rock. Under high par it will be yellow with purple tips. If its green its in low light or really high nutrients. Very durable.....

It’s fine for it. You’ll just have different coloration. I keep mine a 10ppm nitrates and .08ppm phosphates.
