That angel is gorgeous and the cabinetry turned out great.
Reminded me of when I had mine built!
Just like yours, the tank was in place and the white cabinetry was built around it. :)

Truth be told Dennis....I kind of had your tank in mind when I was planning out the cabinetry [emoji2]

So things have been moving along smoothly with just a minor bump in the road. A couple of months ago I decided that I wanted to switch controllers from Apex to GHL because I was having some consitency issues with the temp probes on the Apex. I finally got around to start the transition that I wanted to do in two phases so I could allow myself time to get used to GHL programming. The first phase would be to convert everything that is controlled by the DT over...lights, closed loop, temp, ph and uv. Once I got thru the programming of the GHL which at first seemed really difficult but once I understood what I was doing it is very simple, I put the temp probe on the tank and noticed that there was a huge difference between the apex temp and ghl temp by 5 degrees. Apex was showing 78 and ghl was showing 73. After testing with a couple of different thermometers it was determined that the GHL is correct and I have been running my tank pretty cool lately. I was seeing a 2 degree swing in my tank daily which means at night my tank was dropping down to 71. This just proves that you cant rely solely on a temp probe and a back up device is needed as well as periodic calibrating of the temp probe.

A quick growth shot....

Lighting update....I decided to add a 4th mh pendant to my system. I love my pendants but they really spread the light out and was noticing dark spots. With that I decided to only run the t5's (4 x 54w pure actinic and 4 x 54w blue +) when the mh's are off. I took some quick par readings on the bottom after making the changes and I'm extremely pleased with the difference. Befor I was only getting 200-220 and now I'm getting 270-290. It's only been three days since making the change but I'm already noticing a huge difference in pe and coloration. I took the following pictures with just the mh's on and with my iPhone 6+. Amazing how much nicer the pictures come out when the t5's are off.
