Got a few more fish yesterday...chevron tang, convict, copperband, anthias, swalowtail and leopard wrasse. My lfs gave me a 1.5" regal angel asking me to treat it since it was on its last breath. Unfortunately, it passed this morning:(

Have you checked out the Reefer specific thread I started last year?... lots of good info in there!

I have a 48" fixture on my 60" Reefer and I think the coverage is great. However, I do run it about 12" AWL, so that definitely helps with spread at the ends. I actually prefer the look of the undersized fixture over the tank.

I really like the way your colors look under your lighting.
We were into reefing back in the 90's, got out to racedirt sprint cars and to build our 427 Cobra. I used 4 VHO's, then changed to 2 VHO's and a 250w halide over our 75g in wall reef. We just started again the last several month's, and bought in to the popular LED's. Except for the much lower heat and electric bills, I much,......prefer the halide/flouresent/t-5 lighting.

Anyway, I don't want to change this wonderful thread, just have to say great job with your tank and lighting. (Please send me your link you spoke about on pg. 1)

Brian, not trying to sound negative here but it seems like you will have a really heavy bio load in that tank with those fish you mentioned. Seems like some will definitely outgrow the 350. What is your plan for nutrient reduction?

More than half of those fish are going to be transfered to a 240 gallon tank I am building on my basement this year

Good to know. I was thinking that was a lot of fish for a 350. Wish my wife would go for another tank. I'd love to move my reefer to my office and put a ~200g into the living room.

Awesome setup! Can you take a photo of your plumbing set up? Also, where did you end up putting the DJ strip? I cannot seem to find it in the photos. I am looking for ideas to set up my RSR XL 425.

Here are the pictures, I just followed Toby's (Broadfield) original idea and made a couple changes to it.
I am no longer using that DJ power strip. It's too long to fit on the right side of my stand and I have another strip that has a remote control and I can shut off all the pumps simultaneously. It was sitting on a 45 angle behind the board with my vortech controllers when I was using it.

You can find a lot of ideas here https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/show-off-and-discuss-your-red-sea-reefer-series.219309/
