Hey Randy, What lighting do you have them under in the picture? Mine are under 14k Ushio + 2x18w pc actinics.

1 250w hqi 14k hamilton DE and 1 20k 250w hamilton hqi SE with 4 vho actinic's.

The ushio makes them look more yellow.

I remember these at Mermaid Aquarium. They had about 10 colonies with over 100-200 polyps each easily. Mermaid had them in a poorly lite tank with almost no flow. They looked interesting at the time. Glad I picked up a small colony.

Hey, I have a frag of 5 Mohawk Palys but the polyps are a bit on the small side. The oral discs are a little bit bigger than the width of a pencil's eraser. Is this normal?

They have the gold sparkles in the center and pink rim and they are definetly mohawks, I was just wondering if they are supposed to be small.

Awesome thanks for the quick response. That's a real meadow full of Mohawks you have growing there!!!

What I have noticed is that the amount of pigment in the coral doesn't change with the size, just stretches out, thus becoming lighter, and less intense...
