We are definately staying in. We have a 29 gal bio cube and a solana 34 set as well. We have a new used 120 we have been gathering equipment for. I think we are going to go ahead and break and down the 90 and get the 120 up and going. We are debating if should keep any of the sand and live rock from the 90 or start with fresh.

sorry for the loss but in regards to keeping the sand and rock I would toss the sand get new and keep the rock I would bake it Not in the oven kinda Bake and start over. depending on how old the rock is and does it have any issues like aptisia, algea ect....

Just as an update... we lost Hobbs, the true percula clown, all of the xenia/anthelia, about 2/3 of the zoanthids (roughly two whole rocks full), and a bunch of star polyps. It could have been worse, but it was just terrible watching Hobbs swim in crazy circles doing barrel rolls before his death.

Did you top off your tank . Sometimes the city flushes firehydrants and our water turns to rust color stuff.

sounds like an oxygen issue. This happened to me once and it was a cucumber in a powerhead.
