In most cases phodphate is consumed much less than nitrate, especially in reef tanks with many fish. Whould it not be an idea to make a bactobalance version that will prevent Nitrate from bottoming out and not add phosphate. I just got rid of the GFO reactor. My nitrates finally got near 0 (0-3 ppm) but my phosphate is around 0.1 -0.2. I use Elimi NP and Reff Actif but now i have to add a nitrogen source

We offer Amino-Organic as a nitrogen source without phosphate. However, it will not increase the nitrate concentration, at least not fast and much, because it contains amino acids and other organic nitrogen compounds.

I am aware of this product as I am using it. Also I am happy with the low nitrate which for me signals how clean my water is as I dont do water changes. However it will be nicer to have one less additive. Currently I add:
1. Your 3 part,
2. K & A elements (mixed with the above),
3. Elimi NP,
4. Reef Actif,
5. KZ spongepower,
6. Amino organic (I wonder if it can be mixed with 1 or 3?)
Thanks

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
