A8se ii max advise vs Orphek or4

Hey guys, I’m having a crazy hard time figuring out the best lighting for my tank can’t for my life figure out what i want to do ….

I’ve been debating on getting 4 Orphek or4 60 inch lights for my 72 long 24 inch high 30 wide tank

Or saving the half the money and getting the Chinese radion knock of A8se ii max x 3 of them

I’ve heard mix reviews on both…

Some say orpheks will be too weak 4 bars at 75w per bar

And some say the a8se ii has issues like turning off or jumping off schedule not sure

Give me some good advice please

For a 30 inch wide tank, you'd really need 5 or 6 OR4 to get good coverage. Orphek make some awesome, high quality lights. You could go with the knock offs, but sometimes (usually) in this hobby, going a cheaper route is more expensive in the end when you have to replace lights and/or are unable to get good customer support. This is just my opinion though.

That’s also what I’m thinking i was also thinking going Orphek 4 bars and if my growth or coverage is very low i can always get 2 a8se down the road alot cheaper
