Well I use it and sometimes mixed with Reef roids around once every 2 weeks, or less, in both my systems anytime around midday/early afternoon when it’s convenient

I don’t think it makes any significant difference, certainly in my systems anyway, as far as timing goes

You might need a controlled scientific experiment to prove it either way

I dose in the early evening about an hour before lights out. It's shown to give excellent results with doing it during this time and covers the corals that feed in the sun and those that don't.
