I am in the process of building my tank in wall as i previously had done
In the past i had problems keeping the tank cool
are there any problems to adding an ac duct (tee off from my central ac )right next to the top of a large rimless reef ?
will the duct blowing cool air directly over the tank cause any issues for an sps dominant reef ?
will i need to worry about rust or saltwater getting into my ac system ?

I don’t know enough to answer this question but does that duct transport hot air during the winter or is it only for a/c?

From summer to winter you can put a block in and flip it to block the air from flowing. I would think the duck work won't be right next to the water but like in the wall so I would think rust won't be an issue but idk where you plan to have it.
In my house I don't have a vent by the tank and just turning on the air in the house cools off my tank.

Inkbird makes a temp controller that does both heating and cooling. Rather than an AC duct you could just use a small fan hooked up to the cooling side.

I have ductwork extends approximately 10" from the end of inwall tank and approximately 6.5" above the tank with no issues
