Acan colors

There is a person getting rid of his setup and he purchased some acans with some nice colors. He placed them under led's and they turned orange. If I purchase them and put them under t5's, will they get there colors back?

i would also like to know , im switching to LED. i think they wont get there true colors back, i believe its something to do with lack of UV in the spectrum or lack of red's green's

I have had acans regain their colors when placed under different lighting. Had rainbows that were under t-5s in my frag tank, then sold them to a friend who had them under one type of LED (turned orange), then put them back in my tank with a different type of LED, and they morphed back. Takes time but does happen.

If you want orange acans give them a lot of light...they will turn orange.....

I've seen them turn orange under LEDs. My acans get alot of MH light and they go back to their "true" colors after a while.
