I run some nice and cheap LEDs :D I use Taotronic 120w blue:white 24:30 i believe

Agreed! T5's are the best. No bleaching and promotes lots of growth! =)

I find it very hard to believe you can use better lights than T5 for LPS

I enjoy the color I get from my t5/LED combo. It gives a powerful area for SPS, yet does not orange out my acans. The LED is dimmable which is a must in my opinion.

Originally had my Acans under AI Sols (3/03/13) and did not experience any significant coloration. Switched them to a tank with 150W MH with 2 PC actinics (6/23/13). They are growing well with one that multipled from 3 to over 20 heads. Still not liking the color and am considering trying T5's or T5 combo with MH or LED. Any fixture suggestions?

Yes. Still no rainbows under led.

My acans grow like weeds under my panorama leds. No color shift at all either

I have one tank with t5s and another with LEDs. Green acans do great under the LEDs my rainbows do better under the t5s..

4 bulb t5 and 2x reefbrights. I had a crash lately cost me 6 acan colonies an 4 frags. Im ubber ******. I think one got stung an brown jelly took over. Sigh.

I use a 2 bulb T5 on a tall 60 and i baught a brown near dead seat of acans with 11 heads from my LFS to try to save them bout 6-8 months ago and they have dubbled in size and r starting to turn a rusty brown orange. i cant wate to see what collar they turn out to be.

I have Luxeon ES 3w royal blues and neutral whites. I've had most of my acan frags over 3 months or so. I make sure they're not directly under the lights and low.

Not the best pictures but you can see it hasn't bleached any of them.

i have 2 acan from aussie before , had a great respond with my T5 , since i switch it to Hydra 2 month ago they both dying , but other coral respond it good and growing up , any suggestion is welcome ! thank y'all ..........:tongue:
