Just found out what this coral was. Thanks to Dave (evad1). I guess it's not a very common coral. I've never heard of it before. I got it from a wholesaler about a year ago. It started receding real bad. It actually split in half at one point and the other half died.

It's pretty big. Like a small-medium Scoly. Opens up and feeds like an acan.

Anyways what ya think??
Did everyone else know these existed? Or was I the only noob?

True Acan Maximas only come from the coast of Oman. I'd be more inclined to think you have an Indonesian scoly.

It's def NOT a scoly. I think if u saw this at night u would agree. It opens up just like an acan. I've had a couple diff people tell me it was a Maxima.
