I have a few newer Acans and Micros that in the last two days stopped puffing up like normal. I don't know if this is due to being introduced in to my system and acclimating or something else. My micros have been in the tank for a few years now and not puffed up.

I checked them with the lights off and they have their tentacles out and feeding.

Any ideas what might be wrong with them? Some of the others are doing fine and look great.

some times acan/ micro will not puff up during times of growth.... if it is affecting all acans/micros id look into it deeper, possibly dipping them in betadine to kill any possible infection

I would definitely bring the magnesium up to around 1400 ppm, I keep ours between 1400 ppm and 1450 ppm. It is my understanding that acans love the magnesium.

Tested alk yesterday am with a Salifert test and it came out to 10.2

I developed a theory that my Tyree Flower Pot Montipora has been stung or ticked off by something and is sloughing off tissue. The Acans/micros are right underneath, in a lower flow area and that the slime from the Monti might be irritating them. I have moved the Monti so we will see what happens in the next few days.
