Currently I have rock dedicated to acans (lords)

I have had one type for a few months and just added another 3 a week ago.

The oldest is not is not open while the others seem to be fine.

Wondering what advice is out there to get the one to open.

What I am seeing in the pics is green and maybe cyano, it will kill the corals eventually. DO I see that correctly.
The rock work should be clean and free of pest algae 3 years in, provided parameters have been stable. It may just be the pics....my computer not the best.

CA and MG a bit high......should be more like CA 420 and MG say 1360.....
Alk is way low....should be more like 8-9 dkh.....if you raise....do it no more than .5 dkh per day.

When was the last time the old one was open...

What's your livestock, any corals nearby that could possibly sting? I'd start siphoning the cyano out during water changes.

I cleaned up the rock, shortened the light schedule by an hour and fixed an issue with my gfo canister.
I upped my auto alk dosing slightly. I measure this everyday so we shall see.
I already have my water change schedule at twice a week at 20% and I test alk daily.

Time to wait and see and test some more.

Thanks for the responses everyone.

I agree, I try to keep my tank close to NSW. Great looking colonies @Uncle99 !
