Acans coming off skeleton?

So a couple of acans I have from a friends tank have been detaching from their skeletons, I am wondering if this has happened to anyone and how I can get them mounted back onto something, I have tried wedding veil on rocks and plugs and they won't attach, the get to slimy for super glue,
They are still alive after 3 weeks of being detached.
Here is one that is in the process of detaching...

It's called polyp bail out and I don't believe you can re-attach them to anything.

Mine started doing this a while ago. I simply wasn't feeding them enough. I've since started feeding them twice a week and they are growing crazy now. Start feeding!!!!!!

Just feed. My mag has always been 1320, kH 9, calcium 420-440 and SG 1.024. All 3 colonies did the same **** thing. ALL I did was FEED and they grew back fast. Going from 5-8 heads to 15+ in 8 months.

I do feed mine, they were in a friends tank when this started, so does that mean the separate polyps are just "trash" then? The polyps still look great and have feeders sometimes..:/

Keep trying to feed then and see what happens. But that's all they will need to survive
