Hello ,
Would this fish be sutable in a tank 120 x 50 x60
Any advice or tips on this fish welcome

I can't see why it wouldn't be okay in a 10 foot aquarium with those other fish. That should be plenty of space for all of them.

Be sure to properly quarantine the powder brown tang and make sure you select a healthy one at the fish store. Be on the lookout for flukes, ich, head and lateral line erosion (HLLE), and marine velvet.

Side note, a psychedelic dragon is a mandarin dragonet right? And a sand hopper is a scooter dragonet?

On another note my tank is not 10ft long :confused: its a 90g 120cm x50 x 60 :oops:

Okay, sorry, should have asked about the units. Thanks for clarifying the fish names, psychedelic dragon fish sounds amazing!

The clarification on the size changes things, now I would say no since powder browns need quite a bit of space and a 90 gallon is cutting it too close for a fish that realistically needs 125 gallons or more with at least 6 feet of length to swim back and forth through.

IMO, 90g is a bit small for acanthus tangs long-term. The powder tangs specifically can get pretty aggressive when mature, and tight quarters may exacerbate that aggression :/

I'd consider a kole or tomini instead.

Now I'm not sure what you have there in the Netherlands, but a showstopper fairy wrasse or a small group of different species would be pretty neat. My personal choice for an easy-going species in a 90 gallon would be a tomini tang or a yellow-eyed kole tang as mentioned before by @ngoodermuth

I see a lot of different colors with the yellow-eyed cole .. is this the difference in color from juveniles too adults .. or do they come in more colors

Depends on the lighting, some tanks they are more brown or burgundy but under actinic lighting they appear darker and blue in color. All of them should have a bright yellow eye with spots on the face and horizontal lines on the body with yellow tipped or fringed fins.

Here's the livaquaria description: "As a juvenile, it has a yellow-gold to tan color combined with striping and spots. When matured, the body color darkens, ranging from blue to burgundy. Depending on what part of the world it is from, it can have either a majority of spots or stripes highlighting the body."

White-tail bristletooth tang is a bit more delicate, and expensive, but different and suited for 90g. I'm also a huge fan of leopard wrasses, again more delicate to get acclimated, but hardy after they are established and great personality. Another great wrasse with brilliant colors is the h. melanurus.

I love my potters angel, striking pattern and colors, but like any angel there's always a chance of coral nipping.

Well think ive made my mind up ... its gonna be the yellow-eyes cole tang .. Im going too look at Some Tomorrow Morning, hoping i might bring one home with me !!
Ive thought About wrasses but To be honest Im not a big fan of .. plus i have an open top tank .. i dont want any carpet divers !!

Not my photo, thanks google. If you like the kole, this guy is a bit flashier with more of a brilliant burgundy/red coloring than the typical kole.
