Acceptable gap between aquarium and stand

I built a diy stand for a 10 gallon tank and 3 of the 4 corners touch the stand. But the one corner I can fit about 2 business cards in between. Is this anything to worry about? The tank stand is made of 2x4s with a 3/4” plywood top. If not acceptable, how can I fix it?

For a ten gallon tank I wouldn’t really worry about it. But you could put a yoga mat under it to even out the pressure.

Assuming it’s a standard 10g, they aren’t exactly built with the best quality control. It’s more than likely the tank and not your stand. If the tank isn’t filled yet it could just be part of the bottom rim is not seated perfectly and when filled it may even out.

Yes it’s a standard 10 gallon aquarium, filled with water. Would a yoga mat actually relieve the stress from the gap? Or would it just mask it by not showing it?

You may use a thin piece of Styrofoam to level tank and fill gap but due to total weight, I wouldn't be concerned

Yes it should I would cut a 1/2 inch sheet of foam board and put it underneath the tank. With that small of a tank like everyone said shouldn’t be to big of a concern.
