As the title states I accidentally dropped my torch.

I was taking it out from a cup and it slipped out of my fingers and hit the bottom of the bucket head first. A lot of tentacles came off.

Will it be able to recover and what are some steps I can take to ensure the best possibility for survival?

I have attached pictures for reference.

Thanks in advance

yeah if its already established in the system before the drop it'll recover within a month. I give it a 80% survival rate if it's new and well acclimated

Sorry to hear... I wouldn't try to do anything to it but just leaving it alone for the next few days. If there's any chance of it recovering, it'll be high if you make sure it's in a happy place, and not messing with it. There's always the chance of it coming back with no harm done... Good luck!

I accidentally broke the skeleton on a torch frag in 4 places when I was removing it from a frag plug, I put some 2 part epoxy around the whole skeleton and put it in my tank thinking it most likely would not make it. Its been about 2 weeks now and it lost about 3/4 of the tentacles very quickly but what is left is actually doing really good. So yes they can survive some pretty extreme damage, makes you realize how much life really wants to continue.
