So I just got a pulsing Xenia. I heard they pulse only in low flow, so I turned my flow way down(won’t affect anything cuz I’m just keeping delicate softies right now) but if I slowly ramp up the flow, will it acclimate to it and pulse in the moderate-ish flow?

How powerful is it? I have a jebao sw-4 on its lowest setting not even directly pointed at my Xenia at the lowest flow and it seems to be blowing it to one side. I just got my Xenia this morning tho so maybe it’s just not completely acclimated?

It blows them totally sideways. I’d just give them time

Sofites adapt very well, at least xenia tends to. It will grow shorter in higher current, longer in low flow and both will still pulse I have found. My current colony lives in what's best described as a toilet bowl current and happily pulses.

All of the above. Xenia are great starter corals, very forgiving
