Hey everyone,
I just used this old critter cage for my acclimation box and will be keeping my new mimic tang in here until the big mean powder brown calms down! Holding the acclimation box against the glass using my scraper! The PB is very mad right now but hopefully they calm down!

I did something similar with a floating acclimation box and my algae magnets. Ended up buying 2 different sized acclimation boxes from Amazon so I could clean the glass! (Plus I love having the top covered unlike the floating ones).

I use the same thing. I actually used a soldering iron to poke a bunch of holes all around the sides and a few on the bottom to allow more flow through it and prevent waste from accumulating in the box.

I actually did a similar thing! I used a hot metal skewer to poke a bunch of holes on the bottom and a few on the sids

If the PB is the aggressor, it's the one that should be in the box.

The idea is to give the aggressor a "timeout", while allowing the new addition time to get comfortable in their new surroundings.

I’ll try that. Didn’t wanna wave the net around my scape but if he doesn’t calm down then it’s the only way.
