I was having a discussion in discord about frag sizes and the ability for an acro to adapt to a new tank. Is there a difference if say a 3" Walt Disney is added to a new tank right next to a 1/2-3/4" frag of the same?

The question is about adaptability. Is there something about a larger frag being more used to its old lights/water params that makes it LESS hardy?

I see it as, if something goes south you have a chance to save some. With a nub size, you have nothing to save.
