Acro base turning white.

Just got into SPS, I've had these Acros for about 2 1/2 weeks and now the base is turning white on one of them. And the other ones tips are turning brown. The polyps are open on them both though.

Tank Setup

55 gallon tank with 10 gallon sump
55w Dimmable LEDS set at 45% blue and 30% white
1100 Rio Return Pump
Hydor 850 power head

Tank parameters:
Ph- 7.8
Am- 0
Nirite- 0
Nirate- 0
calcium- 420
kh- 9
Mag- 1400

I use SPS Max for target feeding once a week since I got them.

(Tank has a lot of Zoa's and few other corals)
(Tank has been running for 8 months now, haven't lost anything in 7 months)

is the actual "flesh" peeling away ? usually with stn or RTN you can see it coming off the coral

I think it is on the one I pictured. Which is a ORA Red Planet. But my Marshall Island I can't really tell.

My Ph is always a constant 7.8 every time I check it.

Read online that gluing the affected area works most of the times. Should I attempt it?

Temp is a constant 76 and salinity is 1.025

once a coral starts to RTN or STN its hard to stop you can frag a colony but fragging a frag isnt going to do you any good. Im just not sure thats what you have tho do you have any pics with no Blue?

i have had that issue with sooo many of my acros and i dont know what the heck it was. always got white at the very base first and then takes off like wildfire up the entire piece. first be sure its not actual new growth (that should be pretty easy to tell since you look at it daily). if it is actually rtn then the best way ive found to save the piece is to just cut the acro off about 1/8 above the highest rtn spot and reglue it to another frag pad. sounds extreme but i have waited to see if it would stop rtn on its own and make a comeback only to lose the entire piece of some really high end acros. now im more into the lps-less hassle. i recently did just purchase a few new acro pieces and am gona give it another shot since i have a new tank thats alot larger than the last 40gallon breeder i had-always had a hard time keeping params really stable on the breeder

id probably push my temp up to 78 but thats not whats causing the rtn

+1 If it's not peeling, let it be. I have a similar piece to my red planet (same body, growth, style, etc) that has a white rim around it, and there are beautiful polyps in the white area. For whatever reason RP tends to have very white new growth and color comes later. Just my experience. I have multiple pieces all doing the same thing, ORA RP, and similar ones, non ORA.
