Hi guys,
I decided I was ready to give a few acros a try in my biocube 16 with an AI Prime HD. Finally felt I had the lighting and stability for them. Anyways clearly I didn't cause 1 of the 3 I have is mid bleaching as I type this. Other two acros look good and I actually have a monti cap I've kept for a few months without issue. No other corals or my BTA look out of the ordinary. Parameters are as follows:
Salinity: 1.025
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 2 ppm
dKH: 9.0
Ca: 460 ppm
Any thoughts? One thought I have is that I put them all on the sand to acclimate them to the light and moved 2 of 3 up and was planning on moving the 3rd but forgot about it for 2 days until I noticed it bleaching...maybe just not enough light?
