similar but i don't think so... normally they have a green or brown base depending on if light gets to it....almost looks like one of those ora marshall island pieces to me...

when I googled tricolor I found a pic of bali tri color that looked close, but I am just not an acro expert AT ALL.

That looks like my Bali tri color but it's hard to say, close to same growth pattern !

I got it from a guy on craigs list who didn't know or care what stuff was called, he just had a reef, and then sold it. So I bought a few corals.

looks similar to tricolor, but not exactly. It is a super piece though to have scored off craigslist! maybe its just a tricolor from somewhere other than where we are used to seeing.....

I don't think it is a valida, looks more like a tort to me. Nice.

Thats why I wasn't sure, the branches seem to be just a little bit thicker than a valida, tort is another one it kinda resembles.

now that that has been pointed out, I see it. LOL! never even saw that before. So very well could be tort.
