Thanks guys! I am planning to run a full range of AF products

Congrats on an incredible looking tank.
Why do you choose to dose the Stronium?
What benefits does it achieve for you?
Thank you for sharing your tank and your knowledge.

About eight years ago I visited my LFS and was impressed with their display tank, very nice and healthy corals with crazy sps , I asked them how do you guys get a healthy and colorful in tank .So they just laughed and said we keeping simple as possible, not too much toys ,the parameters were stable with the three main parts, AlK CAl and Mag combined with Strodium, so that i go with their way. I have a little bit of success now, of course over the years I have had many difficulties to keep the coral alive, since it also has a lot of experience .

Sure , i love taking photos :)

And I enjoy your corals pics, lol.
I’m about to start AF Balling Method but first I want to get rid of some hair algae that are on my sand bed and some of the rocks.
I’m starting with the Bio S and NP Pro and once the algae is under control then start with the Component 1.2.3.
Any suggestions will be appreciated,
Thanks.

Very nice! Really have that filled in look that we're all striving for. My tank is literally a bunch of little nubs right now so this seems a long, long way off. Can only hope to have 1/2 as much success as you.

Great part of your success is due to the uniformity of your T5 light fixture.
T5s are the best for colors, colony anatomy and growth in shallow tanks.
Not to diminish the chemistry at all. It's the combination of factors that will give you the results.
Strontium, potassium and other elements are also important for SPS.
Please keep doing it!!!! Looks great, my friend!

I see many beautiful tanks using leds, and most of the advice given is to keep the stabilization parameters and strong flow combined with strong light. Thank you

The T5s will give you a touch to the halides, embracing the tank and giving that extra punch with the spectrum too.
You have one of the very best setups anyone can offer to a system in regards to lighting.
There is only one combination better than halide/T5 to grow SPS, and that is halides/VHO.

Yes, I agree. I've seen few very beautiful LED tanks.
Yes, stable parameters, strong flow and strong light are general rules to keep SPS.

I dont run a chiller. Im lucky that my tank is in my basement with a ac duct right behind it. So when the central air is on its getting cooled in the summer. I do have a fan connected to my apex to turn on at a certain temp which cools the tank but it only really comes on in the spring and fall.

Great tank Loz. I am local to you, so I would love to drop by sometime and see it in person. I would be happy to help you with a build thread as well. Actually, helping you with yours might encourage me to get off my butt and do one for me as well. :)
