I am wondering if any of you acro experts out there can positively identify this as A. Deswalli. I bought it as that several months ago when it was brown and green and covered in algae. It has developed purple tips and a white body. It looks a lot like a plana to me. Thanks in advance.

Plana. From the looks of it I would say it will turn to a Crayola Plana with a little more time.

I looked that the aims for plan and deswalli and I still can't distinguish between the two....does anyone have deswalli pictures? Whats the difference.

I lost my desalwii colony and was only able to save a small frag. But my desalwii looked almost identical to a chips...it just tables out.

Your piece is very nice!
