Hi. I looked at my tank today at 2am and found 2 acropora corals had much better polyp extension than I usually see during the day.

What does it tell me? Does it mean the light/flow settings need adjustment to improve PE during the day time? Or is it just these two particular corals prefer feeding at night?

Night feeding. The planktonic critters migrate up from the depths at night and coral put out their feelers to see if they can engage in a free lunch. They are happy if they are feeding, ime. Good time to put in some planktonic food items if you are up late.
