That is awesome! Was it a very large/old colony? I have heard that only large colonies spawn.

Not a large colony. I’m pretty sure i had other spawning during the week because i saw small white bubbles during a few nights during the last week. I was not sure what it was. It may have triggered this one to spawn??
i was lucky inqas in front of the tank when it happened

In my old aquarium I had baby jellyfishes going out of rock

so i am wondering do any of these spawn actually take hold anywhere and grow or do they end up being sucked up by our skimmers and what not?

I’ve had that happen a few times. Bali maricultured colonies and only thing I could pin it on was moon light cycles courtesy of my Tunze pump controller.
