Acro's surviving but not thriving

One spot foxface is safe, others are hit and miss. Fish could easily be nipping when you can't see them. Put some egg crate around the milli for a couple days and see if the PE reappears.

For flow, drop a pinch of food in the water upstream of the corals and make sure there's at least 10 cm/second of flow going over the coral. It should not be hitting the coral directly.

I second what others have said about the importance of a PAR meter.

Don't know if you know. Acros will encrust before they start growing.

True, but if you look at my past/present pictures, they are not even encusting much.
Got a par meter today working on crunching the numbers. Sneak peak the but the slimmer was @ 350 - 360 and the blue milli was at 430 - 450. I have brought my over all schedule percentage down from 85% to 65%. I am using ReefDudes template.

Finished off setting overall schedule to 57% to get those numbers.
