Where is a good place to source acrylic parts? I’m planning to do a DIY project with my local club soon to make look down boxes. I’d prefer something like this one I have. It is only two parts and I think it would be easier for people to weld than a bunch of flat pieces.

I found someone selling cake bases on Etsy that are acrylic for $0.50 each. Would those work?

Thanks!

I’m not sure where you live but I work near a company called Midwest acrylics that sells scrap by the pound. I stopped in the other day and bought $1 worth of scrap and had enough for a few projects. Maybe see if you can find a local acrylic manufacturer?

I’ve tried but didn’t have much luck. I’m in southeastern PA.

That’s helpful. Thank you! I was hoping for an online source

Thanks for that. I’m about 65 miles east of there. I wound up finding what I needed on Etsy of all places.
