Make sure you prop the sump on end or whatever so that gravity is working with you so that the weldon 40 flows into the joint. It is thick but will run out of the seam. It will permanently seal it. All weld on 40 is is weld on 4 and acrylic shavings.

It is in the stand, so it can’t be moved. I’m leaning towards super glue or the silicone if the 40 is not thick. It’s also like $45 which was a bit more than I was hoping to pay.

I'm happy I saw this. I am making an acrylic overflow box and I was wondering why the silicone wasn't working....then I remembered silica = silicone = glass. I'm going to redo this with a different adhesive...but $45 for one glue? They must be off their rocker. It better give me some kinda good time for that price [emoji23]
