The link doesn’t work for me. What is the concern?
Apparently triton has been seeing super high levels of copper, barium and silica in peoples tanks after adding new carbon.
They believe that due to the war in Ukraine activated carbon suppliers have switched sources and now the carbon is tainted.
They said they had one person in the uk have their entire tank wiped out due to such high levels of copper which they believe was from the carbon.

All of these claims are so vague:thinking-face:No proof, methodology or data to back it up whatsoever
yea his replies to people asking questions and saying the same thing as you was also pretty vague and un-helpful.
his answer was basically "trust us we see the test results" but wont say who they have found to be the problem (possibly due to liability concerns if he calls out a company by name?)

My ICP came back with high copper. But I am using carbon bought years and years ago. I am using ROX now even though I have no clue if it works considering the price tag.

Copper 8 ug/l

Iron also elevated at 4 ug/l
Aluminum 5 ug/l
Barium 18 ug/l
Silicon 159 ugh/l

Everything he mentioned and some are elevated. This is a new build. At the time of the test the tank had been running less than three months.

Carbon I used I bought two years ago. Cheap top fin. Dusty garbage. Switched to rox last month.
