Hi guys, i would like to make me a 30g AIO peninsula tank.

BUT i really don-t like all the wires and tubes coming out of the back. I can stand some (like ATO wire and hose, wires for wavemaker, skimmer, heater) but i don't like all the dosing tubes, probes, etc.

Can you think of a way to add a sort of external "control room" to the tank? Optimum would be a smaller tank, like a micro sump under the stand, i tought of 2 small 10mm holes going to a 5g tank under the main display but i was thinking that is phisically impossible (in the AIO when pump is off level rises and would overfill the small sump).

I could put a solenoid on the overflow going down to the small sump so that when the main internal sump is off the solenoid closes and no water goes to the micro sump. BUT is a failing point.

Any idea?

Any idea?
