Hello,

I have a 125 gallon tank and have two zebrasomas (sailfin and yellow tang), and after about 8 months together, they have started to tail slap each other and are starting to get aggressive. If I had a purple tang, will that make them quit being aggressive towards another? Thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like maybe making some changes to your Aquascape may be something that might help? Maybe this would reset that territorial issue for a bit

Unlikely. Zebrasomma tangs are territorial, especially to other Zebrasomma tangs. It may diffuse the aggression, but it also may exacerbate things.
Agree. It’s a gamble that I wouldn’t take at this time. A sailfin will also very quickly outgrow a 125, IMO.

It’s best to add tangs of the same genus together.
