Add these wrasses in at the same time?

Yeah. Should be fun. I changed it up again, haha. I dropped the Scotts and added a single, maybe a pair, of flame wrasses. They said they had flames that were in mid process of switching to male, so they could get me one of those and a true female. I really wanted a pair of some type of wrasse.

The Scotts they had were 5 inches, so too big for my tank right now, but they said they were some of the nicest Scotts they ever had :( My initial thought was get it, but for the better interest of the fish, I passed. When I upgrade my tank later this year I can always add more. Pics to come Friday night
awesome choice! the Scott's will lose a lot of its coloration over time. while the Flames will keep their colors. if they do lose some, you probably can't tell much. I just saw an awesome 4"-5" Scott's at the LFS and I was like man, I hope they kept their colors. oh yeah, they're quite aggressive towards other fairies too. so, you have almost all the fairies I have. great start. :)

Thanks. I really wanted some flashers so I can watch them court, but hopefully the flames will do it if I get the pair. I am probably going to get rid of the foxface if it looks like I have too many fish. I've even thought about selling my grade A Picassos, but that would be hard to do. I'm not big on having clowns in my reef like I used to be, but my Picasso pair are just so nice, and would cost too much money to replace in the future.

a Foxface should afford yah a trio of flashers in bioload IMHO.

Hey guys, I have a 125g, and it currently contains a less than 3" harlequin tusk.

I was wondering if I could add a Pseudocheilinus ocellatus and a Pseudodax moluccanus to the tank at the same time in addition to the harlequin.

Sorry for the partial thread jack, but I figured as long as we were on subject.

Yeah, somebody around my area might be getting a free foxface if I find a pair/trio of small flashers :)

Any thoughts on a laboutei? I have like $140 credit at LiveAquaria right now, and that would almost cover that fish. They look nice, how is their temperament?

I'm not really familiar with those wrasses. I'm only familiar with fairy and flasher wrasses. sorry.

Laboutei's are cool. I had a mean one and a not so mean one before. the mean one was a big boy and he was one of the first ones added in the tank. I might add one later on in my tank. :)

I have a pair and love them. They keep their color well for being in the darker color group.

Thanks Brad. I have the Rhomboid, Lineatus, and a male Flame coming today. They said they were getting female flames in next week, so I'll get one of those, and then see how everything goes in the tank. I will probably end up booting the foxface, and then look at either some flashers or a Laboutei. I can't wait to pick these guys up from the airport today :)

This was a hard pictures to get, but you see my 3.

Top Left: Female Flame -
Top right: Male Lineatus
Bottom: Mystery Wrasse.

Sitting at the airport cargo facility. Plane lands any minute now, so I'm getting excited. Can't wait to see these guys

I really like your screen on your tank what is that stuff made of? It isn't regular screening for like windows and doors is it? I would like to get something like that on my tank to keep my Mystery from falling into the over flow.

The screen is 1/4 inch screen I got from either Acroholic on here, or you can get the same thing at BulkReefSupply. I built the frame out of acrylic bar so it was clear and kinda matched my rimless look. I love it.
