Currently in the grow out waiting to go into the 90g Venom Tank.
Line up will be:
Rhinopias frondosa
Radiata lion
Red fuzzy lion
Zebra lion
Antennata lion
Fu manchu lion

Will be a bold endeavor managing feeding, if it becomes too much of a challenge I will flip some to other tanks.

Update for the little zebra, he's now about 3.5" and starting to color up real nicely. The antennata growing nicely also, they are really good hunters, but I think stlll too small for the 90g. I'm thinking to convert this observation tank to another display for the fu, and add a new scorp, a scorpaena brasiliensis, aka barbfish. Still a little stressed so all in camo color, he should redden up when he gets happy.

Awesome! Have you ever thought about doing a coldwater reef? There are some cool scorp type fish that would be right up your alley

My house gets way too hot in the summer, I could never keep them cool enough. I let my tanks get to 80.6 in the summer and the coolest I could get them without a chiller is about 76. I use the little icecube chillers on my small tanks, but the traditional ones have too many negatives for me. I would love to keep a pair of ornate trunkfish, aracana ornata.

8 months later and he's just a tad over 3", so in comparison he has grown at a slower rate than lions, except for the fu, which also seems to grow slowly in comparison.

They have small mouths, much smaller than lions of the same size, so your tank mates will be a lttle safer.

This is my 2nd leaf fish, the 1st one was likely a fully mature adult or close, at around 4". He stayed almost exclusively on the sandbed, and wasn't really that active, or interesting for that matter. This guy is very active, and has become one of my favorites, so as usually even with the ambush predators, personality and activity is all up to the individual. This one is all over the tank, here he is at the highest part of the tank.

A couple of new creatures, better pics to come, they just went in tonight. The goblin walked around for about a 1/2 hour then buried himself, then ate a molly. The cockatoo ate some ghosties, they have a small mouth and will be challenging because the barbfish is quick with a big mouth.

I think he is hungry, he's been burying himself in a few different places. He is one freaky sob, he is kinda cool. I see why people have had a hard time keeping these, they are kind of tricky to feed, when I've had him a little longer, I'll do a write up.

Middle one looks all derpy. Very interesting stock!

Yeah, cockatoo waspfish, all floopy in the flow. Very much like a leaf fish. I was always squeamish to get a sea goblin, but I really like him. I ordered the cockatoo and my friend at the lfs got the goblin for himself. After talking with him and the tank he was going to put him in, he decided to let me have him. Both for $100, glad I got him.
