Adding a medium sized fish

I currently have 3 various gobies, 2 blennies, 1 damsel, and 2 clowns (and 3 minnows I forgot about) in my 90 gallon. Tank is 8 years old but has gone from a puffer tank, then a toadfish tank and now just the small stuff because I just started keeping corals around 6 months ago. The clowns stay in the corner. The Blennies and gobies all stay on the bottom under rocks or in cracks. The damsel has its spot onset my big rock. And the minnows ride the current at the surface unless I’m feeding. My tank actually looks empty and there’s tons of empty space. I’m thinking of adding a medium sized fish that won’t outgrow my 90. Considering a one-spot rabbitfish or a couple different smaller tangs but I’m not sure on either. I have lots of clams, crabs, snails and shrimp in my tank also. It would be great if the fish I add didn’t eat my inverts, but it’s not a tragedy if it does because I have so many. Maybe too many…...

Looking for opinions on whether either of those fish are a good idea. Or any other fish I haven’t thought of. I considered a puffer but I think the feeding habits of a puffer would add a lot of extra cleaning and I’m not sure if they nip corals either.

Any of the bristle tooth tangs would be a good addition.

Foxfaces do get very large very fast! Just something to keep in mind, you would need to make sure you have some big arches and stuff for one to hide in (the are the world’s nervous fish

Yes, I do have large arches and crevices but I was wondering about the temperament of them. I definitely don’t want an overly nervous fish if I can avoid it. Thanks for the info!

Any of the bristle tooth tangs would be a good addition.

Cool. I looked at a few of those online. Are they fairly resilient as far as shipping them? I’ll have to order one if I get one is why I’m asking.

Would they wipe out all my inverts or just kinda pick them off here and there? I’m ok with them eating 1 or 2 a day but they keep my tank tidy so I don’t want them all to disappear in the first week. Lol! I looked at both of those and I wasn’t sure about just how unsafe they were with inverts. Like, some of you are gonna die, or all of you are gonna die. I really liked some of the wrasses but that was my only drawback.

Depends on the wrasse. I have had several different types of wrasses (fairy, flasher, leopard) and none have showed interest in inverts. As always though, every fish has it’s own personality.

Peaceful but they spook very easy and act like the sky is falling every time

I’m pretty sure every one I’ve ever seen in a fish store was hiding or spazzing.
