Adding a 'shelf' to Red Sea Reefer Cabinet

Hey guys!

I just got a Red Sea Reefer XL 425 the other day and I would like to add a shelf or something to mount my equipment / controller / etc to as well as to help hide the cords. That said I'm a bit nervous about drilling the stand to screw anything in. I don't want to weaken it or anything like that or create any issues.

I figure so long as I don't drill too deep and user smaller screws I should be fine - but any advice is appreciated.

Why not just put in a portable storage container. This is what I have in the dry side of my Reefer 350.
