Tomorrow I will be receiving both my bubble Magnus and a UV on the same day. Out of curiosity would it be okay to add both at the same time or could this be too much change at once?

In my opinion adding both at the same time won’t affect your tank. They serve two different purposes. In terms of the UV you just need to decide if you want to run it full time or just part time.

As of now I'm just trying to help out with diatoms. I was originally planning on running it at night.

I also thought maybe I would run it full time for a couple of days to help and then switch to night only.

Diatoms will disappear on their own with or without a UV. It just takes a little bit of time.
I originally purchased it because something weird was going on with my corals as all of my numbers when tested were normal. So I thought there could be something else in my tank. But all of my coral have since returned to normal as of yesterday. Since it was already ordered I figured might as well use it to help with diatoms.

Do you really mean diatoms and not dinos?

Diatoms are generally not a problem unless something is adding a lot of silicate such as tap water.
