I have had one baby Bangaii Cardinal 1/2 inch in size in my sump for the past month from my last batch. Can I put it back into the display or will it cause issues with the parents? The tank is a 75 gal.

Bangaii cardinals as adults are not schooling or shoaling fish and prefer to remain either solitary or in pairs. I don’t recommend releasing the young offspring into the tank and instead rehome it into either a different tank, the refugium if you have one or give it to the LFS.I have had one baby Bangaii Cardinal 1/2 inch in size in my sump for the past month from my last batch. In my experience yes the parents will kill him. like what @i cant think said they prefer to remain either in solitary or in pairsI have had one baby Bangaii Cardinal 1/2 inch in size in my sump for the past month from my last batch. Hmm I don't know much but I have 4 and they get along fine.
All 4 hang out some days and other days they do their own thing.
I think your little guy would be to small and probably get eaten.
Mine just had a bunch of babies and we will see what happens.
I caught about 7 more other then the picture and put them in my 6 gallon I have

I’m pretty sure your 4 paired off and whilst in the wild I’m pretty sure they prefer being in pairs, they will share Long Spine Urchins with other paired specimens. I could be wrong though and they may keep together in one LSU.
