Hi there, when adding Coperpods should you turn off your flow , protein skimmer etc for a period of time... thank you
 
First is equalise the temp , wait for your lights to go off or turn them so the fish go to sleep and/ or can’t see the pods
Turn all flow including the return so they don’t go to the sump and add them , wait an hour for them to cling on to stuff ( check there’s not a load on the waters surface and swish your hand to get them down
Then put pumps back on , leave light off ( best to do this at night )

Yes, its a good idea to turn off for 30 mins or so to let them settle into your rocks. Not a requirement as they tend to find a way to survive in my experience, but it can certainly not hurt to give them a leg-up.
