so, tank is running with some acro’s that is in all fairness doing great.
Even had a golden jaw dropper that was in the dip longer than what was good for and was basically a white blob returning to full flesh and polyps.
I am getting quite a few frags that’s grown under most royal blue leds.. I am worried about acclimatising to my fairly white 8x 39 watt ATI unit lit tank?
Slow acclimatising for sure
On the sand in decent flow and leave for a few weeks?
All opinions welcome
Thanks in advance

pretty much what you said... you can either lower the corals for acclimation or preferably leave the corals where they sit and raise the fixture and then incrementally lower it until everything is adjusted.

Thanks landlubber
From the corals I have I had such mix reactions.
Some came from MH system.. 10000k 400 watt.. they didn’t bat an eyelid in my tank apart from usual slight browning of changing systems
The first lot I got from LED’s are growing slowly, terrible colour and clearly shocked
The ones I am getting in shallow fragrant with a lot of super blue light..
usually would run 2 blue t5’s 9:00 am to 9 pm
Other 6 bulbs -4 white and 2 blue most giesemann or ati- for 8-9 hours
Now thinking of dropping it down to 4-5 hours and increase every week by 1 hour full light
